2.) Reflection on Feedback: After conducting my first elevator pitch, I received great feedback from my classmates as to what they thought was great about my pitch and what they thought could use some more practice and revising. Although many of my peers agreed that my pitch contained great information, they also agreed that I could have used more emotion while I was talking. I think that I was so focused on the information I was attempting to explain that I completely forgot to continue using emotion throughout the whole pitch.
3.) What I Changed Based on Feedback: By receiving this constructive criticism from my peers I was able to revise my elevator pitch to convey just as much information as before and still convince my audience that my product is great while showing emotion throughout my pitch. By using emotion this time, I hope that I have better conveyed the effectiveness and need for my product. I also tried to use more motion in my pitch including taking steps front and back and using hand movements while explaining my product to create depth of the video.

ReplyDeleteMy first feedback comment would be to make your youtube link a hyperlink so it is easier for your blog users to click on your link and view your video easier without having to copy and paste it into a new tab. However that being said, your elevator pitch is simply fantastic ! I love how you start with "imagine ..." grasping the viewers interest immediately. Your gestures are good and you are dressed very professionally. You've done a fantastic job and I can see you have made a lot of effort and practice into this pitch. Well done. Keep up the good work because practice really does make perfect.

ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with your second elevator pitch. You definitely added more emotion than last time. And like again from before your information really helped the audience understand your product and why it is a need. Since you were a little bit over the ninety seconds I would consider maybe pulling something out that isn’t as important, but overall it was a great pitch!

You dressed professionally and you project your voice nicely while also adding appropriate emotion and engaging hand gestures. I also thought you did a great job at capturing the audience when introducing your service. Great job.

ReplyDeleteIt was a great presentation. You gave a lot of details about what your product is, what the benefits of using it are, and you even mentioned some statistics related to your product. I think that you kept a perfect pace while talking, and you looked professional. I wish you good luck finding investors for your business. Great job!
